Crash and crash and crash (etc.) #59
Comments
It's a large diagram so takes longer. I've increased the timeout, can you try again? |
Thank you for answering but, unfortunately nothing changed |
Hi, just to let you know that I'm still stuck, I can't edit my diagram. |
Hi, looks like a connection problem: at the end of my file you'll find many connections If I remove the two last it works. |
Sorry you're running into this @GeorgesYCM , it's just a large diagram. With something of this size, we recommend splitting it up into multiple layers (https://d2lang.com/tour/composition/). One of our engineers will investigate if there's a particular bottleneck, but I suspect all the edge routing just results in the timeout |
Hi, thank you for your answer.
Not sure to fully understand: reading https://d2lang.com/tour/composition/ I understand that layers are intended to split a shema into several ones not visibles at the same time?
I tried to create layers, and I have an error message telling me I must be in "architect mode": what does this mean?
BTW, I downloaded TALA on my computer, and I can locally process my diagram. This is not what I need, but I can use it as a workaround waiting for you to fix this issue.
Thank you for your help,

Since about one or two weeks, when I try to compile a diagram, I often have a "Looks like something went wrong. Please make sure you're connected to the internet and try again later." error.
I must try again and again: sometimes it works, but often it fails, with exactly the same code!
